Celebrating The Twelve Days of Christmas Books

On the 5th day of Christmas Books, obSEUSSed gave to me
5 Grinch Cookies

I went to a Cookie exchange party hosted by the gracious Jen of Tatertots and Jello. Of course I wanted to make something festive so I made Mount Crumpit Melt-a-ways.  This is a melt-a-way butter cookie recipe from my husband's family, I just re-named it. And, I'll admit, my husband baked the cookies. His family are the best bakers. I did make the frosting, only after calling him for advice while in the process. It really isn't very hard, I'm just not the best cook.  They taste delicious and Melt in your mouth, thus the name.

What a fun recipe! My nephew's class ate green eggs n ham to go along with the book. I bet your cookie recipe would have been a neat addition.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments on my laundry room.

The cookies were delicious, although the packaging was truly my favorite part. You did such a great job of putting them together!

I took photos meaning to post them on my blog, but didn't get around to it. Let me know if you'd like a copy.
