Teacher Appreciation Ideas {Memory Box and Plant}

Friday, January 20, 2012

Teacher appreciation week is often held in the spring at grade schools. Here are some ideas I put together to thank my children’s teachers. These would be great class gifts if you can gather the kids to sign their names.

TRY IT:

MEMORY BOX: Buy a memory or photo storage box. Have the kids sign their names. Add a treat or another present inside, or letters from the kids. If I had a vinyl cutter I would have added the words “Thank you” on top.

PLANT: Buy a plant with a plastic pot that you can write on. Use permanent markers to write “Thank You” in larger print then have the kids sign all around it.

These have received wonderful response and the kids liked participating to show their appreciation.

Here are a few teacher appreciation ideas I created last year:

The best gift anyone can give a private tutor is appreciation. Simple things like this will not cost much, but will forever be treasured by any teacher.

These are great ideas, Victoria. I love the idea of filling the box with a note from each child. And that dance teacher hanging basket is too cute!
